IT Contractor Portal
ITContractor.com is a fast growing portal for IT contractors. They can get access here to products and services provided by our sponsors and advertisers. These products include IR35 related products, IT accountancy services, contractor insurance services like professional Indemnity Insurance, Contractor Mortgages etc.
Basically, if it is of interest to IT contractors it can be sold here.
ITContractor.com attracts traffic of more than 200,000 Page Views a month from 50,000 Site Visits by 23,000 visitors per month – the vast majority of which are IT contractors. This traffic is increasing by the month.
Advertisers have a selection of places to advertise.
Throughout the Site
Advertisers can have an advertising headline banner throughout the site (except for the News, Jobs, Advice and Money articles pages). This is a prime slot.
Home Page
There are three options on the Home Page:-
Boxed Textual Ads
These are at the top, above the articles and there is also a set just underneath the articles.
These are prime location and have been very successful for those using them.
Textual Ads – Top Right
These come under the heading of Advertisers. These are also prime location and reserved for our best advertisers.
Side Banners
These are located on the right hand side of the page and are for those advertisers who prefer banner ads to Textual ads.
Articles Page
This is the page where all our article text is. It is, in fact, our busiest page as our articles are our most important feature.
Here we have Textual Ads and Side Banners as explained above.
There is also an extra feature on this page.
We have found that placing two-line ads at the bottom of our articles has had a very good return for advertisers.
Our advertisers would, typically, block book groups of 5 of these bottom-of-article ads on focused topics like IR35, Accountancy, Training, Jobs etc.
Article Category Pages
We have 4 different category of article, i.e. News, Jobs, Advice and Money.
Each of these pages, which list the latest articles under each of the headings, can have the following advertising:-
- Headline Banner which is exclusively for one advertiser
- Textual Ads on the right hand side
- Side banner ads
IR35 Page News
This contains all the latest IR35 news. It suits advertisers who want to advertise to a focused group, i.e. those interested in IR35 news. The advertising space available is the same as for the Article Category Pages above.
IR35 Page Advice
This contains articles giving advice on IR35. It suits advertisers who want to advertise to a focused group, i.e. those interested in IR35 advice. The advertising space available is the same as for the Article Category Pages above.
Jobs Search / Contract Search
On this page IT contractors can search for their next contract. Advertising is the same as for the other pages with the following addition:-
Job board and agency advertisers can allow our readers to search their databases for IT contracts on the IT Contractor site.
Which Umbrella
This is an article which sets out the selling points for each Umbrella Company, service company, and management company. It is free to all our major advertisers.
Newsletter Ads
Once a week, we send out a Newsletter to our membership of more than 13,000 IT contractors. It is one of our most effective means of driving traffic to the site, with around 30% of our site visits coming on the day of the Newsletter.
There are various advertising slots on the Newsletter. Our advertisers have found this to be one of the most effective ways of reaching contractors - and is even better when they have a special offer.
